TSS Skills Assessment

The TSS skills assessment program provides a way to assess the skill of the applicants. Australian immigration system offers various kinds of skilled visas. One of a very significant Australian skilled visa is temporary skilled shortage visa subclass 482 abbreviated as TSS visa. This visa is for those skilled individuals who get sponsored by an eligible employer in Australia. But there is a condition for the employer and that is that he or she should be unable to find suitable talent for the particular job they are offering in Australia.

This visa allows its holder to come, live, and work in Australia temporarily. This visa has three different streams and the period of stay varies with different streams of this visa.

To apply for a temporary skill shortage visa the applicant must get his or her skill assessed by an authorized skill assessing authority. This assessment is to evaluate whether the applicant has the right skill set, talent, and experience in their nominated occupation or not.
